Arctic Winter Games Cultural Marketplace Call for Visual Artists

The Whitehorse 2020 Arctic Winter Games, in partnership with the Yukon First Nations Culture and Tourism Association, would like to invite Yukon visual artists to apply for the AWG2020 Cultural Marketplace.

The marketplace will be taking place March 16th – 21st at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre and will showcase Yukon’s wide range of visual artists, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous, as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Arctic Winter Games.

Selected artists will be asked to drop off their work prior to the marketplace where it will be professional displayed and sold on your behalf in a 2,000 square foot gallery space.

Workshop and demonstration opportunities are available. Please follow this link https://forms.gle/G6MxvECMb1QHD1e47 (English) https://forms.gle/NCgW4m8fQS84mTcX6 (French) to apply and to find more information.

Travel and accommodation subsidies are available for artists from the communities to ensure their participation.
